Programme Highlights

We've all heard that kids pick up languages easily. How about learning a coding language?

In collaboration with Coding Lab, we are delighted to offer a curated preschool coding programme where your child will be introduced to the world of coding and logical thinking as a new language. Our proprietary, award-winning curriculum is inspired by MIT.

We strive to excite preschoolers in their learning journey as they are introduced to the visual programming language of Scratch Junior.

Scratch 1:

Step into the world of programming

Students will get to design their own interactive stories, animations and gaming ideas using Scratch, a visual programming language specifically designed for younger users by MIT Media Lab.

Your child will learn how to combine visual blocks creatively and instruct the computer to breathe their creations to life.

Junior Coders Programme

Discover the basics of coding that will impart skills including Computational Thinking and Logical Sequencing in your child.

Your child will also learn through engaging activities, such as Reading, Drama, Kinaesthetic Learning, and Crafts.

Course Outline

Across five 2-hour sessions, your child will learn how to code through multi-disciplinary activities, which involve:

  • Story Time / Kinaesthetic Activities / Montessori Learning
  • Computational Thinking Activities / Robotics / Tinkering with Circuits
  • Creation Time*

*Stories x Code: Tablets (Twin-sharing) will be provided. Students are also welcome to bring their own. All equipment is provided for the All About Circuits and Bot Adventures programmes.

There will be a 5-min eye break during every 2-hour session. Students are to bring their own snacks for consumption during the break.

Join our exciting first-of-a-kind Science coding class for Preschoolers.

How do the planets revolve around the Sun? Why do some objects float while others sink? Why do our shadows change in sizes throughout the day? How does the magnet know which items to attract? Why do we feel tired going up the hill?

In this research area, we’ll be answering all these questions and more! Students will get a head start and learn about physics concepts that we see in our daily lives. Combining physics with code, students will get to create their own animated explanations on such daily phenomena on ScratchJr.
