Where should your child start from when writing a composition?
Before putting pen to paper, we recommend planning the story, generating ideas and structuring the flow by drafting out a story curve. A story curve helps your child visualise these five components that make up a good composition:
Introduction
Rising Action
Climax
Falling Action
Conclusion
In this guide, we will be taking your child through a step-by-step guide on how he or she can learn how to structure a story curve to achieve an impressive composition.
This guide is suitable for students in Primary 5 and 6.
