Every lesson is designed to help your child learn the topics from the school syllabus and achieve key learning milestones.
This means that there's always room for progression, improvement and increased confidence.
We cover topics like driverless cars and the Super Blue Blood Moon and use hands-on activities or project-based learning to help students understand concepts such as Geometry of the Life Cycle of Plants.
Our materials have built-in features that help your child take notes efficiently, analyse questions precisely and craft answers with care. Lesson activities are planned to motivate students to communicate, ask questions and clarify doubts.
Every activity booklet or handout your child receives is based on our expert knowledge of changing examination and question trends. Multiple feedback channels help us continuously update our curriculum and maintain the highest standard of excellence.

Soo Wai Kit
Academic Director
North-East region
Wai Kit graduated with a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from NUS in 2010, with a Joint Minor in Environmental Ecology from the University of Toronto.
After discovering his passion for teaching as an Education Officer in what is now known as the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, Wai Kit joined The Learning Lab as a specialist primary school Science teacher and also became part of the pioneering team of teachers who started teaching secondary science lessons at TLL. In 2016, he led the science teachers in Tampines as Subject Head for three years before he was appointed as Academic Director of Marine Parade Central in 2019.
"Valerie really enjoys her lessons at The Learning Lab! She always shares with me that her teachers are cheerful and kind-hearted, and shower her with lots of encouragement. In addition to the nurturing environment, I am also extremely satisfied with the curriculum here.
In English classes, Valerie is taught specific writing techniques and introduced to model compositions, which enable her to digest and understand concepts more readily.
Her composition has since improved from 58% to 95%, in a short span of half a year! Presentations conducted termly also offer Valerie a valuable edge in honing her public speaking skills.
As a parent, I am heartened to know that my child is in good hands and am confident that she will be able to excel academically and beyond."

I chose TLL because of the interesting curriculum. My child enjoys the lessons and looks forward to her classes.
She's excited to share with me what she learnt in class and I see that she likes to read storybooks now after attending TLL. I'm impressed by how TLL teachers could spark the love of learning in my child.
