In the Advanced Computer Scientists programme, students progress to the next stage of programming. Through an extensive micro:bit curriculum, they will dive into app creation for both iOS and Android and model advanced concepts across syntax-based programming to create tangible, real-world products.

About the Programme
In this research area, students will learn how to develop a comprehensive Health Program using Python. They will build tools such as a BMI calculator, calorie tracker, caffeine calculator and even a step tracker similar to those found on smartwatches. They will then personalise their program further to monitor daily progress, generate detailed reports and provide tailored advice aligned with individual goals — just like a real health device.
