Dr Yong Jung Hahn
Internal Medicine, Sengkang General Hospital

Dr Yong Jung Hahn is currently completing his Internal Medicine posting at Sengkang General Hospital and aspires to specialise as an Orthopaedic spine surgeon.

Passionate about medical research, he has published eight papers in high ranking journals, presented at multiple acclaimed conferences and received multiple research awards and grants. He also actively gives back to the community, organising health screenings for the less fortunate. As a young professional,  he looks forward to guiding students who aspire or are considering medicine as a career and calling, and promises to give an unbiased view of what medicine has in store for them.  

Dr Yong holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. He was also a student at The Learning Lab from 2009 to 2015, taking English, Mathematics and Science from Primary 4 to 6, and English from Secondary 1 to 4. 

Dr Celeste Ling 
National Dental Centre Singapore

Dr Celeste Ling is currently practising at the National Dental Centre Singapore, where she has gained experience across specialty departments like Periodontics, Oral Surgery and the Geriatric Special Needs department.

Her experience in the dental industry has given her the technical skills to improve patients' oral health and also taught her valuable skills like communication, empathy and professionalism. As a young practitioner, she wants to support students who are exploring careers in dentistry or healthcare and hopes she can offer insight, encouragement and a realistic picture of what lies ahead.

Dr Ling holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with Honours from the University of Manchester. She was enrolled in The Learning Lab from 2010 to 2011, taking English through the critical years of Primary 5 and 6.
