Leading Singapore Academic Enrichment and Tutorial Services Provider, The Learning Lab Launches New Chinese Enrichment brand, Chinese Lab by The Learning Lab

New Chinese language enrichment brand and program, Chinese Lab, aims to help students tackle academic and real-world challenges.

SINGAPORE, 11 July 2015 – National academic enrichment and tutorial services provider, The Learning Lab (TLL), has today launched Chinese Lab, a new flagship brand devoted to equipping students with essential Chinese language skills to allow them to better tackle both academic and real-world challenges.

Chinese Lab will offer 1 hour 45 minute and 2-hour enrichment and tutorial programs for pre-school and primary school aged children, focusing on composition, comprehension and oral communication skills.

Built on the belief that love for language comes from an appreciation and understanding of culture, Chinese Lab encourages students to think beyond the confines of the classroom by showcasing the best of the Chinese world through case studies of iconic figures like Bruce Lee, Jay Chou and Jack Ma, and cultural modules on Chinese history, pop music and calligraphy. Chinese Lab’s enrichment and tuition program aims to nurture bilingual leaders who do well academically, and are able to navigate the Chinese world with ease.

Senior Teacher and Head of Chinese Lab, Mr Justin Leow said that learning Mandarin is key to being able to compete in the future.

“China plays a significant role on the global stage, with more and more economic opportunities opening up in the APEC region for those who can speak Mandarin. As the world becomes more globalized, it is important for students to have a strong grasp of both English and Mandarin. This is especially useful for those who are seeking job opportunities overseas.”

Chinese Lab is now located at United Square, Mountbatten Square and Rochester Mall. For more information about its program, please email enquiry@thelearninglab.com.sg.
