Terms & Conditions


These terms and conditions apply to the “Defying Gravity” competition, otherwise known as the “Competition”. The Competition is organized by The Learning Lab (“TLL”) and will be taking place from Saturday, 17 December 2011 to Tuesday, 3 January 2012.

  1. Participants may be requested to take part in branding, advertising or promotional activities for TLL. By taking part in this Competition, you grant TLL the license and the right to use participants’ personal details, photographs, audio/visual recordings, and/or works created by the participants in the course of the Competition without further notice or compensation for advertising or promotional purposes. TLL may, at its discretion, display, publish, transmit, edit or alter these materials for such purposes.
  2. TLL will not be held liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Competition or due to the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
  3. TLL reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and/or these rules at any time without prior notice. All decisions made by TLL on matters regarding the Competition are final.
